Enjoy learning a new skill at our ‘Wool Processing for Beginners Crafternoon’

What to expect:

Arrive before 1pm and get ready to take your first steps in wool processing

Working with fibre lover, Fred Porchez from ‘WishEweWereHere,’ you will learn how to process a selection of different breeds of wool.

You will learn how to:

* make a ball of yarn using a traditional drop spindle.

* try out a spinning wheel.

* finally you will be given the opportunity to spin your own yarn

You are welcome to bring your own tools, and seek guidance on how to use them.

Expect a fun, relaxing afternoon and companionable crafting, in the beautiful surroundings of Glen Esk.

There's plenty for family members who accompany you (including the designated driver) to do, either enjoying the beauty of the glen in the great outdoors or a visit to the Glenesk Folk Museum.
