Grounds

Nestled among the hills of Glenesk, the museum is a perfect place to come to enjoy nature and plan your next adventure.

 

We have outdoor seating around the building to sit and look out on the amazing views and enjoy the wee burn. If you're in the mood for exercise you can enjoy our short (quarter of a mile) woodland walk and nature trail that takes you around the grounds and through our wild and managed gardens.

 

Heritage continues throughout the grounds, as you will see our collection of ploughs, quern and mill stones, and a beautiful sundial.

 

You can play on the lawn, relax with refreshments, and plan your Glenesk adventure to the Rowan Tower, Loch Lee, Mount Keen and beyond.
