Exceptional Changes to Opening Hours

As a largely Volunteer run organisation, there are times when we simply don't have 2 people available to allow us to open the Museum. It hurts our business to be closed, so we do it with great reluctance. We know it disappoints our visitors and we want to avoid that at all costs but sometimes, it is just not possible to open.

When our hours have to change, you will see the details here:

Google is updated but edits take 24 hours to show online so please check this page or our Facebook page for up to date information.

Thank you for your understanding

Autumn/Winter Opening Hours

From 1st October, except when events are running, the Museum and Cafe will have new Winter opening times:

Full Cafe Service will be offered Friday to Sunday inclusive between 12pm and 3pm or by appointment for groups.

This change has become necessary due to employment costs rising and visitor numbers reducing during the Winter months.

We stay open all year round, excepting a break over Christmas.

We hope that you will support us this Winter when you will be assured of a warm welcome by our cosy fire.
