Proudly presenting a large selection of mixed media paintings by local artist Kinga Elliott, a multi-award-winning emerging visual artist whose complex abstract designs occupy a world of logic and lyrical picture making.

Harp-Chatter-Peppermint is a runner-on from the Royal Scottish Academy's NEW CONTEMPORARIES 2022 exhibition, where Kinga Elliott was the recipient of the Royal Scottish Academy Patrons Award, the David and June Gordon Memorial Trust Award, and the Glasgow Print Studio Publication Prize. Kinga Elliott is a painting graduate of Gray's School of Art in Aberdeen. In 2020 she was awarded the prestigious RSA John Kinross Travel Scholarship to Florence, Italy.

Kinga's art is beautifully distributed throughout the museum, adding a contemporary and thought-provoking new element to the display spaces. Come along and support a local artist and visionary thinker, who shows one the creativity and unique perspectives thriving in Glenesk.
